[/sup]Hello, GENESIS NAOMI BREWER.
>> Is there anything you would rather be called?
“Gen or Genesis is perfect.”
>> You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
“Isla Fisher. Yeah, I get that a lot.”

Let's talk about your personality.
>> What are a few of your favorite things?
“Hmm…Photography is my all time most favorite thing to do. And by photography, I don’t just mean following around a lot of starving models and taking pictures of them as they do poses. I like the real kind of photography. Capturing nature, or the moment as it happens, rather than just waiting for something to look decent. I like taking pictures of nature, or events, like weddings, because everyone’s always so happy, and it’s that kind of joy that they aren’t faking. So I guess I like seeing people happy, too, or at least feeling real emotions. The way I see it, a picture is only worth a thousand words if it says something. Means something. And selling a new coat or purse doesn’t mean anything to me. Uh, I guess in addition to that, I like swimming, thunderstorms, driving, riding my bike – not like motorcycle, but an actual bicycle. I’m probably weird, but I like being in tight spaces, too. Like anti-claustrophobia. I like sitting in closets, or under staircases. It’s comforting. I also like reading, but I refuse to read romance unless it’s really good. I don’t’ like stuff without meaning, and a lot of romance books are just made up of sex and physical attraction. There’s no real love, only lust, and I hate that. I like things that are real – physically there and not just visible. I like Classical Music, too. Stuff without lyrics. It’s more calming, and we could all use a minute to ourselves when we’re busy. And I like people, but a lot of them tend to piss me off when they can’t do anything but complain about some diet they’re on, talk about who they have a crush on, or rave about a new shoe brand.”
>>That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
“I hate snakes. I hate seeing people upset, but I’ll get really pissed if it’s over something trivial like not seeing a certain movie on opening day. That kind of stuff doesn’t really matter, so it’s useless to be upset over it. It just makes you miserable. I don’t like sports, or cheerleaders – or preps in general, they’re…pointless. I’d rather do other things with my life.”
>> Hm, what is your greatest fear?
“I can sum it up in one word; Death. I don’t want to die, and I don’t really think anyone else wants to die, either. I wouldn’t be able to handle it if anyone I cared about died, either.”
>> Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
“I like not to have too many plans, because half of them never happen, and you’ll always end up half disappointed. I do, though, aspire to be a photographer for maybe a newspaper, or professional magazine or something. Just not for fashion and stuff.”
>> Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
“Thank you. And, uh…haven’t I already said quite a bit? I don’t know…let’s see..My parents named me Genesis because I was supposed to be the beginning – the start of the new family, because my parents weren’t married yet. They did get married, but…something happened. My dad died, actually. So now I’m an only child.
I try not to be violent, but I can be when people really start to piss me off – and you don’t want to be there when that happens. I’ve had the chicken pox, and I got lice when I was like 7 so my mom shaved my head and everyone thought I had cancer, which isn’t something to joke about. I don’t really like celebrating Halloween, because it seems kind of stupid, to just dress up in some slutty costume. I mean maybe when I’ve got a serious boyfriend I’ll do it, but…Anyways. We found out I was allergic to cats when we got him. I called him Dashboard, or Dash, for short, because all the way home he kept jumping up on the cars dashboard and laying down, but when I held him he always meowed and tried to get away. So…yeah, is that enough?”

So far so good. Now for history.
>> So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
“Uh, I was born in Ireland, but raised in Whales, which is where my mother moved after my dad died – so we could be closer to her family. But she met my stepfather and they’re really happy, and he’s a pretty good guy so it’s all okay. I do love where I live, it’s really beautiful, with all the crags by the Oceanside and everything. So I guess I’ve had a pretty good childhood.”
>> Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
“I… ‘have’ my biological father, Bradley Brewer. He and my mom got married a few months after I was born, so he was a big part of my life then. But he died just before I turned two, because he got shot out in some stupid war. And the worst part is it wasn’t even his fault – because he would have survived the shooting, but the doctors there did something wrong and he bled out. So I lived without him. When I was about three, though, my mother, Natasha Brewer, as she used to be called, got remarried to my stepfather, Ethan Jacobson. She changed her name to Jacobson, but because she really loved my dad she let me keep Brewer instead. Aside from that, I have two Aunts, Miranda and Alyson. They’re…crazy, but they keep each other company. And Miranda’s son, Daniel, who thinks he’s going to be some star in America someday.”
>> What is your worst memory/memories?
“My worst memory, I suppose, is when I started first grade, and the teacher asked how my mom and Ethan were related to me. I guess it was then that I realized I didn’t really have a real dad anymore, because he’d been dead, and that he’d never be able to see me grow up into what I am today. It was…deep thought for a five year old, but I ended up crying in the teacher’s office for my dad, and I made my mom cry, too, because she really missed my dad, too.”
>> What is your best memory/memories?
“My best memory was my tenth birthday, when my stepdad gave me a little disposable camera. I used it a lot, but the first picture I ever took on my own was of my dad’s grave. So that picture is really sentimental, even though part of my finger is in the way. So we spent the whole day celebrating, and I kind of felt that my real dad would’ve been happy, if he wasn’t dead.”
>> Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
“I’m not really doing much, I guess. I mean I’m living, and taking each day as it comes. Don’t really have plans, but there are several things I want to happen someday. So, I’m enjoying myself, I suppose you could say.”
