Mur: Daw, Bailey, I think you broke his widdle heart xDDDDD LMAO )) Now, Jack, normally, was a very light sleeper. He’d go to bed with a gun in a drawer, or under the bed, and wake to every sound that he heard. However, lately, he’d been having a hard time getting to sleep, all because of a certain number of thoughts running through his head. He wasn’t sure why, but he kept thinking of Calypso. It was suspicious to him as to why she kept coming up in his mind, and he couldn’t get her out. He didn’t know why he kept thinking of her, aside from she’d probably be a very good partner for, well, anything, or something in particular, but when he was falling asleep, he wasn’t sure how that mattered. But tonight, once he had fallen asleep, he was out for good. That is, until something moved in his bed. Startled awake, Jack sat up quickly, rubbing at his dazed eyes to try and make out the shape of just who, or what, was in bed beside him. He moved swiftly to get out of bed, but as he suddenly realized just /who/ was laying beside him, he stopped, and stared in wonder. She was wet, that was the first thing that was obvious, but how she had gotten there was a mystery to him. There was Calypso, laying in his bed, happy as could be, and he was confused as hell, when normally he would have been delighted to see such a beautiful goddess laying where he’d just been sleeping. “Cal?” He asked, his voice deep and a little confused. “Calypso, what the hell are you doing?”
It wasn’t uncommon for Kerrin to undress in her room and walk to the shower in a towel, as it was practically right across the hallway from her room, but the thing that was uncommon was for someone else to be in there as well. The second she opened the door, she didn’t have time to be embarrassed, her own eyes staring in shock at the brief parts of him she had seen before he could pull the towel around himself. She was in awe, relaly, just staring at his towel-clad body, looking over his perfectly ripped chest, despite having seen it before, until she realized that she, too, was only wearing a towel, her eyes going wider at the sheer thought. Quickly, her cheeks flushed a bright red color, emotions all running throughout her strangely, and she turned away from Dorian – a little, at least, bashfully. “Oh, gosh, I’m so sorry,” She apologized quickly, trying her best to keep her eyes down. “No, no, its okay. You were here first, I’ll just-” She started, planning on leaving the boy alone, when she heard footsteps approaching that would only make the situation worse. “Oh, shit, my dad’s coming!” She whimpered in fear, suddenly grabbing the door and shutting it gently, readjusting her towel as she scurried towards Dorian, grabbing his arm and tugging him into the small, curtained shower, slipping on the still wet surface just enough to knock them both to the ground, laying at the bottom of the shower, she positioned ever-so-discretely on top of him just as the door started to open. “Don’t move!” She whispered in fear, holding her breath as she stared down at him in all of his glory, trying to ignore the instant burning sensation of some of her bare skin against his – their legs, mostly, as the rest of them was covered with towels – which, to be honest, wasn’t a lot of distance between their bodies at all. There was a moment’s pause, some scuffling of feet, a grunt, and then footsteps leaving the bathroom. The lights turned off in one quick motion, and as the footsteps continued down the hall, they were left alone.

"I like it when you call me Cal." The woman found herself giggling all of a sudden, rolling over onto her stomach so the she could stare up at him with her chin buried in the sheets. She found that she rather liked what he slept in, though she had been hoping that his shirt would've been off. Calypso moved toward him on her hands until finally she managed to grip his thigh. "I have a confession, Agent Browning." The woman grinned stupidly as she leaned forward and pressed into his neck. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since you got here." Calypso hadn't meant to get drunk really, but when her mind was filled with thoughts or certain people, she didn't pay attention to what she was drinking. Besides, it was Karaoke at the bar, so why shouldn't she get drunk and sing songs? "Oh, and I'm drunk." She let out a laugh as she fell to her side, giggling happily. "And I'm wet. It's raining outside. Oh, please, Jack, take the wet clothes off!"
Dorian knew that she was looking him over, and though it pleased him more than he wanted to admit, he also knew that they shouldn't be in this position. But suddenly it got so much worse, for soon they were in the shower and he was on the ground. His head was bloody hurting, but he forgot all about that when his body started to warm up. He stared up at Kerrin in surprise, trying not to move because that would only make things worse. Dorian scowled as her father came into the room, something that made him tense up, but finally when her father left the room, he quickly moved out from under her. "Okay!" he couched suddenly, moving out of the bath to move to the door quickly. "Look, uh, I'm sorry but you could take a shower first."

And then she confirmed it with words, and he sighed, stepping away from the girl to let her hand fall down to the floor. “Yeah, Calypso, I kind of figured that.” He nodded, walking over to shut his window before he came back to her, placing his hands gently upon her shoulders when she came back. “Look, I’m not going to take your clothes off.” He said, pursing his lips together before he walked to a dresser, pulling out a shirt he’d stowed away in it and handed it to the woman. “You can go into the bathroom and change into this, if you want, but I’m not helping you, and…if you want, you can stay with me, but I’m not doing anything, alright?” He asked, though he was quite surprised those words were coming out of his own mouth.
Kerrin watched Dorian apologetically as he snuck out from under her, also moving quickly to get away from him, though she looked a little more nervous than she did embarrassed. Sure, she was incredibly flustered and a little ashamed of herself, but she noticed Dorian’s haste when most men would be sticking around just for a hopeful peek or two, and she wasn’t sure if she should be flattered that he was being so noble, or offended that he wanted away from her so quickly. “Yeah, okay.” She nodded, giving him an apologetic gaze and nod, clutching the towel a little closer to her body. “Um, I’m sorry, too. For walking in on you, I should have knocked. It wont happen again, I promise.” She said smoothly, waiting until he had left to get in the shower. Once she was done, though, she went back to her room as fast as she could and dressed, going to Dorian’s room as soon as she’d pulled on her last article of clothing, stopping only a moment to make sure she looked okay before she went and knocked gently upon his door.

"And what not?" she snapped, glaring at him as he moved over to the dresser. He seemed to pride himself in being able to get girls out of their clothes, so why was she different? She doubted he cared about other women being drunk when it happened. And she had the feeling he was judging her. It wasn't as if he never got drunk before. She scoffed as she snatched the shirt from his hands, stumbling on over to the bathroom though she tripped a bit and landed on the world where she hand to hold on to steady herself. But finally she managed to get in the bathroom and change in the shirt, moving on out where she suddenly hiccuped and giggled. Calypso was drunk, yes, but she still had her mind working if only a little. She felt rejected even though honestly he might be doing this for her sake. "And no, you can sleep by yourself since you're so set on it." So she went to her room, falling asleep quite easily once her head hit the pillow. But in the morning she was too embarassed to even go to breakfast. But she heard the shower in Jack's room go off so she moved off the bed and off to his room. She knocked on the door, her cheeks red, still wearing nothing but his shirt.
He saw her hurt expression, but honestly he didn't mean it. After all, he was a man, and she so happened to be a nearly naked woman. It would'nt have been long before Kerrin could've been able to tell what truly had, and still was, bothering him. So he left and waited until she finished. A knock on the door made him hesitate, but eventually he did open it and he smiled reassuringly. "I'm sorry about what happened, Kerrin. I should've locked the door." He felt his cheeks lightly turn pink as he reached up and slightly scratched his neck. "Look, Kerrin, I'm sorry I reacted that way. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, if I did at all."

He didn’t like the sight of her being upset with him, as strange as that might be, for, really, women were upset with him all the time. But there was something different about Calypso already, and he hated the idea of her being bitter with him for the rest of his stay here – heck, if she got mad enough, she could probably get both he and Dorian kicked out, though for now he was very unaware of just how close Dorian was getting to having himself kicked out, too. So, the next morning, when he woke up, Jack decided it would be best if Calypso made the first move. It would be less awkward that way, he supposed, because if she was mad at them, then he knew which apology to make. And if she was pleased with some sort of act of valor he’d done, then he’d still apologize, but perhaps not as profusely. He’d taken a shower, and was in the process of getting dressed when he heard a knock on his door. His pants were on, but he was still dabbing his bare chest free of water, not thinking as well as he should when he reached to open the door – for all he knew, it ocld be Kerrin waiting outside, and he didn’t want to risk losing this place, even if it was hard work. Hoewver, instead, it was Claypso waiting outside, looking as pretty as ever, dressed in just his shirt. The only article of clothing that he himself happened to be missing, but he doubted that now was the time to try and get her out of it. “Hey…” He murmured quietly, glancing up and down the girl just briefly, taking in a rather scenic look of her legs, however hard he tried to stop himself, before looking back up into her eyes. But she didn’t look mad, just uncomfortable, so he hoped there wasn’t anything he should be worried about. “I know, you’re here about last night, but before you say anything, I’m sorry I didn’t do much to help you. I probably should’ve been a little…nicer than I was, so I’m sorry.” He said, taking in a deep breath as he stared worriedly at the girl. “How are you feeling?” He asked, actually concerned about her well being.
Kerrin’s focus was glued on Dorian the second he opened the door, returning his smile rather sweetly with her own, though hers happened to be rather brief. She listened to him quietly, her fingers toying with one another nervously as she waited for him to stop speaking, her own cheeks turning a light rosy color at the recollection of events, a strange little shiver trying to go through her body. But, finally, he was done, and she felt quite flattered that he was apologizing to her, even if he hadn’t really done all that much. It was weird, though, almost like he knew what she was thinking. “Oh, uh, that’s okay, you didn’t hurt my feelings.” She said dismissively, even though that was pretty much a lie. He had hurt her feelings. Unintentionally, and rather for silly reasons. “It’s not like I was…I don’t know, expecting something.” She shrugged, her tone growing a little nervous, as the thoughts that were clouding her mind now were making her a little anxious. If she was so easy to read earlier, then who was to say he didn’t have an idea of what was going through her head now? “It’s not like I like you – I mean, I like you, but not in that sort of, erm, way…” She cut herself off, closing her eyes rather embarrassedly, her cheeks turning a brighter red, suddenly thinking that this was a very bad idea, coming to try and talk to Dorian. “Uh, you can go shower now…If you want.”

((Hmm. Saw a whole bunch of lightning bugs. Haven't seen them in forever.)))
The woman's cheeks were burning by the time he spoke, staring down at his feet just in time for her to not notice him look her over. Calypso didn't quite understand why she was so timid all of a sudden. She had been doing most of the flirting and, truthfully, if he had been anyone else she would have continued flirting without bringing this up. But she felt the need to apologize for it was her fault that last night even happened. Sure, he could have acted like she wasn't about to rape him - which she found odd that he even cared if she tried - and treated her a little bit more nicely, but then what? He saved her from using and being used, because anything had happened last night that was hat would have become. "You don't have to apologize. I shouldn't have done that. And to, uh, sum things up I think about you... all the time in a completely platonic way." The woman paused and glanced down at her shirt, noticing she was fidgeting once more with the bottom. "And I should give you my shirt back, Agent Browning. Don't even know why I have that on."
He knew she was lying, but he wasn't going to call her on it. It would only make her feel worse than she was. As if trying to avoid the subject completely, she told him he could take a shower. Though Dorian wanted nothing more than to shower, he simply stared at her for a moment before lifting his hand up and pushing a stray wet hair behind her ear. "I think you're beautiful, Kerrin, and I'm sorry if I made you think different. But I'm a guy, you know, things sort of happen to us... when we see attractive women... half naked." He reached up and scratched at the back of his head, moving from the room awkwardly. "So, I'm just going to take that shower now."

((You havenntt? xDDD One landed on my leg today while I was outside cleaning up dog poooo =/ That wasn't very fun...xDDDD )) Jack highly doubted that Calypso thought of him in any sort of ‘platonic’ way given last night’s demonstration, but he wasn’t about to make the girl think otherwise, simply nodding along with her words as though he believed all of them. He noticed, too, the way she was fidgeting with his shirt nervously, and it made him smirk, feeling actually a little relieved because of her nervous actions. “You know what,” He started, pursing his lips together as he stared at the woman, before he broke out into a warm grin. “Go ahead and keep it, if you want. You know, in case you ever get caught out in the rain again?” He suggested, snickering a little. “Who knows, it might keep you out of some trouble?”
She felt her heart flutter when Dorian brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, and she knew exactly why. Dorian was the type of guy she’d never really met before, and by that she didn’t just mean looks. Sure, she’d only known him for a few days, at most, but so far he’d proved himself to be kind, gentle, charming, and overall, everything she’d ever dreamed of meeting in a guy. The only thing that worried her was the thought of him leaving soon, and never being heard from again. He was an agent, as she believed, so unless something drastic happened eventually, as soon as the case was solved, he’d be gone. “Oh…erm…right.” Kerrin nodded quickly, her cheeks turning a little more red at the thought of what he was explaining, feeling a little embarrassed for him, and guilt for having been upset at his leaving, when that was actually one of the things she liked about him. She might have taken it as an insult, but at the same time, it only made Dorian better, and more different – and calling her beautiful didn’t hurt, either. She nodded, moving out of the way as he exited the room, before watching him leave, trying to come up with a reason to keep him in her presence. “Oh! Um, Dorian…after you’re done, would you mind helping me downstairs with something?” She asked, eyeing the boy curiously. “I could really use someone…tall.”

(T(yeah well it gave me an idea))
The woman felt her cheeks brighten considerably at his suggestion but she smiled anyway. She, however, eyed his bare shirt and knew she'd be thinking about it for a long time. "I think it's you who needs a shirt." The woman patted him on the chest with a silly little smile on her face. But she turned and walked back to her room, taking her own shower and getting ready for the day. She didn't talk to him for a while. She was a little peeved with how he acted, but she knew she'd have to face him eventually. So, the sun was going down to where there was a soft glow and so she went to his room and knocked quietly. "Jack, I want to show you something." Kerrin's father was asleep for now, always going to bed early, and truthfully she didn't know where Kerrin and Dorian were. So why couldn't they do something?
Dorian felt guilty with what had happened the other day. So, after Kerrin's father went to bed, Dorian silently made his way to her room. He had been sent to get food for the week and while he was there, there was advertisment on the board about some circus in town. Now, Dorian didn't trust circus' or any other place for that matter, but he wanted to do something for her and he would at least come prepared. "Kerrin, open up..." he tapped lightly on the door, leaning comfortably against the frame.

((It didiidid? yayayeh xDDDD Is that your idea for jack & callie? Fireflies? XDD Jack: My babe looks hot in firefly light, >=D )) He didn’t know why, but Jack was really starting to be bothered by the fact that he hadn’t seen much of Calypso lately. He didn’t think their apologies went too terribly, so he couldn’t help but be confused and worried because she wasn’t talking to him. He did like Calypso, after all. He liked her a lot. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem to be liking him as much. So, he was starting to think about leaving. They hadn’t gotten any leads on this monster for a while, so why not start over? Go somewhere else, get out of the area before he or Dorian got any more attached to any of the locals. He was in his room, sifting through maps when he heard a knock on his door, followed by an all too familiar voice, which only made him frown. Normally he would’ve been glad to hear Calypso’s voice, but not tonight. She’d been avoiding him, and now she was standing at his door wanting to ‘show’ him something, the likes of which he didn’t even dare guess. “Alright.” He called quickly, unable to resist in the end as he moved to the door, opening it quickly, staring at the pretty dark-haired woman seriously. “What is it you want to show me?” He asked, a little curious, though he was probably more annoyed and confused than he was curious.
To be honest, Kerrin didn’t really expect all that much from Dorian after that day’s incident. He was a good boy, so why try to bring up the memory of it at all, even if Kerrin herself liked to relive it quite often in her mind. So, it was no surprise that while she was sitting in bed, almost affectionately reading an old, little book, that she broke instantly into a glowing smile at the sound of a knock at her door and a familiar voice. Even if the only thing he wanted might be to know where some spare toilet paper was. Of course, she couldn’t allow herself to be too hasty, so, closing the book, she slipped from her bed asking for a moment as she quickly glanced herself over in a mirror. Only once she decided she looked good enough for this time of night, which wasn’t really that late at all, she went to the door, pulling it open with a curious look on her face, despite the small grin on her lips. “Hey,” She greeted smoothly, peering out the door. “What is it?” She asked, wondering why Dorian was risking sneaking around while her father was asleep to talk to her, even if it was probably just for something simple.

((Is that a problem? I couldn't think of anything else and square dancing is boring as hell. So fireflies it is. Plus, jack needs to go prancing around catching tiny bugs. Cal: haaaha that's a cute thought. I thought maybe fireworks, but it doesn't seem like fireworks is a good idea when you at a place surrounded by flamable things like crop fields Why, did you have something better?))
His tone and expression didn't help all too much with the guilt, but why should it even matter? He was acting no different than when she had climbed through the wall. She doubted he was sleeping, so why would he be upset with her? Calypso didn't think it could be because she had avoided him. It wasn't as if she thought he'd notice but it was only because she couldn't exactly tell what he thought and what he wanted. So, instead of asking his question, she grabbed his hand tenderly and pulled him from the room, from the house, and up along the grassy meadow where the trees were casting dimming shadows on the ground. The girl grinned as the hill finally seemed to end, and there before them was a giant meadow filled with sleeping flowers and bright yellow dandelions. But the fading sunlight allowed for a certain insect to be seen. Tiny bright lights, more than any on person could count, flickered from one spot to the other. "Fireflies!" said Calypso happily, looking about ready to jump with joy. "I haven't ever seen one." Living in such bustling places, and now the woman was simply overjoyed that she saw them. She held out a hand, waiting patiently until one landed on her wrist, crawling up her arms until she giggled and moved quickly away, slipping behind Jack's back where she placed her petite hands on his waist, chin on his shoulder blades. "I have a wonder, Jack, if you will indulge me..." she tapped him tenderly on the hip, moving around to his front where she placed a hand on his chest. "Is that frown because I haven't be talking to you or because you don't want to be here anymore?"
He was relieved to see that she was still dressed. It wasn't that he expecting her to take forever to get dressed again, he just didn't want her getting annoyed that he even bothered when she already changed. Of course, this was just Dorian over thinking, so he ignored his thoughts and smiled brilliantly at the woman. "I'm going to take you somewhere." He reached it and flicked the light-switch so that it went dark, grabbing the woman's hand and making his way downstairs. He grabbed the keys to the car, glancing quickly at her to see he expression, before grinning and leading he outside. Dorian drove in silence, deciding to keep her curious, but soon they came upon a little patch of tents with people and children running about. The smell of fried food and candy reached his noise. He didn't exactly like circus food, or anything in the circus honestly, but he wasn't here for himself. "Come on." He opened her door, his hand suspended in the air was left for her to grab.

Calypso, he didn’t think, was quite that violent of a revenge person. If anything, she was probably more the ‘spit-in-your-coffee’ type than punch in the face. Maybe a slap or two, but he didn’t really believed that he deserved those yet. However, instead of seeing any sort of anger, he saw only delight in her eyes as they came upon their destination; a meadow filled with tiny, sparkling bugs, flying around everywhere. And despite being a self-proclaimed tough-guy, Jack couldn’t help but smirk at the sight of the little, glorious bugs, turning his attention to Calypso only as she started to speak again. “You haven’t?” He asked, finding it a little surprising that the pretty girl hadn’t seen lightning bugs ever before in her life. “And here I thought Dorian lived under a rock…” He teased, eyeing the girl curiously, though he still couldn’t feel abundantly happy. Not yet, at least. Even as the girl came up behind him, placing her hands on his body, there was something bothering him. It was an odd change of behavior for her, hating him one minute and making him her companion the next, and he wasn’t sure what to think about it. And then she asked him a question that he didn’t know how to answer. He eyed her wearily for a few moments, the feeling of her hands on his hips not giving him as much of a reaction as he normally would have liked, before he took in a deep breath, deciding that by not answering he was probably only bothering her more. “A little of both, I guess.” He admitted with a frown, shrugging just lightly as he watched the girl, hesitating with the rest of his answer. “I don’t really want to be here anymore because you haven’t been talking to me.” He admitted, before reaching up into her hair and grabbing something suddenly, holding it out in front of her; a small little firefly. “I’m just not used to being in one spot for long anyways, you know?”
Kerrin was obviously a little confused, following after Dorian with furrowed eyebrows, though the ever-present grin on her face was enough to know that she would keep following the man for miles if she needed to. She wasn’t sure what he was doing, and while that made her nervous, it also made her incredibly excited. He was sneaking her out of the house, alone, when her father had given him strict orders not even to bother her at night, and while some girls might be upset with Dorian for not following the rules, Kerrin wasn’t in the slightest. How else was she going to get time alone with him? She was half-dying with curiosity, asking Dorian where they were headed quite a few times before she decided he wasn’t going to answer her, so she might as well give up. Instead, she locked her eyes on him, wondering what was going on in that head of his. Soon, though, there were lights in the distance, and finally they pulled up to something she recognized. “A circus?” She asked with a giggle and a smile, looking back to the handsome man with delight in her eyes. “You aren’t planning on joining, are you?” She asked with a snicker, grabbing his hand as she slipped out of the car, linking her arm delightfully with his the instant her feet hit the ground, already starting to lead him through the tents of people. “Ooh, Dorian, look!” She squeaked after a moment, a bright smile on her face. “A fortune teller!” She grinned, staring up at him curiously, all while trying to be as coy as she could. “You want to?” She asked, wondering if Dorian was as curious of a person as she was.

She had been mad at him, but it wasn't anything close to deserving a slap. Calypso only didn't talk to him because she was embarrassed. Why couldn't she at least have some time to think things over? And it wasn't as if this was life changing stuff. He traveled a lot, like he said, so why did it matter if she wanted anything more. "I've always lived in cities..." she explained, watching him with a growing frown on her face. She listened to him quietly, however, watching curiously as his hand reached for something in her hair and pulled back, lightly blowing at the bug on his finger so that it flew away. "Then why don't you leave?" she questioned suddenly, peering up at him innocently. "There hasn't been anything new popping up about that poor family. And I'm sorry I couldn't help you, but this place isn't exactly filled with open, gossipy people like New York would be." Calypso pulled back and smiled at him, reaching up and placing her hand on the nape of his neck, letting her fingers play with the back of his hair. "And what do you want me to talk to you about, Jack, huh? You said so yourself, you aren't use to being in one place, so why would anything I say matter." The dark-haired woman sighed as she looked him in the eye. "I could tell you that I'm starting to like green lately," she offered, her hand moving to his cheek so her thumb could trace underneath his eye. "And I'm very into photography; I have five albums back home full of random pictures. Maybe you want to know why my name is so odd. My mother was very into Greek Mythology, you see, and I'm sure she believed one day some God would swoop down and seduce her. But swooping is bad.." The dark-haired girl nodded with a playful smile on her lips. "What do you want me to say?"
"I could, if I wanted to." He was a pretty strange person and if he thought about it, he fit pretty well in a circus. But he had a job to do, and as of late it was being rather difficult and secretive. It was as though no one even really cared that the family was missing - like it was normal. But instead of pondering on it, he offered her a charming smile as he watched her face lit up. As she looked around, the first thing she wanted to do was a fortune teller, and Dorian didn't know if he liked some woman telling him when he was going to die because she just might be right. "Go ahead." He allowed her to pull him over to the woman, keeping a sharp eye on her, his biased suspicion creeping up on him. He took a seat beside Kerrin, his eyes still intently focused on the woman.

((XDDDD dudueee soooo I pretty much read Peter Pan in a whole day xDDDD And its a pretty good book dude lmaaoo it was awesome =D Better than half the books I've been forced to read lately =/ and its a hell of a lot better than some of the books imma be forced to read coming up. I have to read an anne of green gables book in like a week -.- I hate those books. )) Jack frowned ever so lightly at Calypso’s words, knowing that he truly did agree with them. Why didn’t he just get up and leave? Why didn’t he and Dorian just get out of here while they could? And the only reason he could come up with was because he’d been told to come here by an angel. That, and there was a beautiful girl here he wasn’t quite ready to leave behind just yet. He didn’t want to leave until he’d walked every avenue he could with her, but just a few moments ago, he thought that he had. He stayed quiet, listening to her childish, sweet little stories as she touched his neck and face, grinning with a bit of interest as she mentioned the thing about greek gods, wondering if she even know just how possible her mother’s hopes were. He shrugged it off, though, sighing as she finally finished her little conversation, offering her a warm, proud smile. “What you just did.” He confirmed with a nod, snickering lightly as he leaned down, pressing a sweet little kiss against her forehead, his hands reaching for her waist briefly, letting her go and stepping away once the kiss was complete. “How many do you think we could catch?” He asked suddenly, nodding towards the twinkling bugs in the meadow. “I bet twenty.”
Kerrin glowed with delight as Dorian agreed to let her speak to the fortune teller, fawning over pretty much everything. Dorian, the tents, the people, and despite not really liking circus’, as she’d never go to one on her own, she couldn’t help but feel like she was having the time of her life without even having done much at all. Quickly, she brought Dorian to the old woman’s table, offering up her hand at the woman’s request. The old woman started to examine Kerrin’s hand curiously, interesting the young woman, though really she didn’t believe any of it. She just liked the idea of it. “You will find love,” The woman began to speak, giving Kerrin an answer she was rather expecting. “It will make you happy, at first, but it will only lead to pain in the end.” She warned, giving the girl a heeding look, before she turned to Dorian as if giving him a glance of warning as well. “And you,” She said quickly. “You will find true happiness, but it will slip away from you if you are not careful.” She explained, being vague, as most mystics were, before she dismissed the two so she could move on to her next costumer. Kerrin, though, didn’t believe a word of it, and simply grabbed Dorian’s hand, walking happily beside him. “Well, she was a bit bitter, don’t you think?” She asked, giggling happily as she looked up at him, her eyes shining with endearment. “I think she thought we were dating, too. That’d explain the little love bit…at least she didn’t say we’d be murdered in our sleep.” She grinned, before suddenly, without really knowing what made her want to do it, she stepped up on her tip-toes and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I dont think I would've liked hearing about your death very much."

((God, I can't write! It's pissing me off. This girl I use to rp with emailed me and wanted to rp again but it suckssss the posts suckksss. And I don't know what to doo. I suckk life suckks)))
The woman let her eyes close as he suddenly pressed a kiss to her forehead, giggling with amusement as he pulled away and questioned her about the fireflies. "You're too serious; you'd probably crush it." Calypso giggled as she spun away and sprinted into the field. The bugs flew from the flowers and blades of grass, into the air where they scattered and lit up. She reached up and cupped her hands as quickly as she could, peering in curiously with a happy smile on her lips. "I caught one." She let out a tiny little giggle as the insect walked along her palm for a way out. She released it, shaking quickly as to get any others off. "It tickles." The woman smirked as she glanced toward the man, lifting a hand and beckoning him to come forward with his finger, giving him a suddenly very determined "come hither" look.
Dorian found that he was suddenly glaring at the fortune teller. The looks the woman was giving didn't seem all too fake to Dorian, but the things she was saying he couldn't quite believe. What sort of happiness was there exactly? He didn't get happiness from just any old thing; solving a case just didn't cut it anymore. Truthfully, Dorian wasn't exactly a happy man, so he found her words too doubtful. But soon Kerrin was pulling her away from the table, and he looked down at her with interest as a smile soon grew. "You did just kiss my cheek. I'd say that'd look very much like we're dating." He knew he was fond of Kerrin. Her concerns and thoughts were something he considered and kept in mind. But he knew he shouldn't be doing this. He was suppose to be an Agent after all, and not only that, but the truth was that he was a killer. Maybe not in the eyes of all he had saved, but how else can you explain how many people they really had hurt? "I wouldn't leave without saying good-bye to you, Kerrin, I promise."

((Duududueee idk what you're talking about. =/ You're a great wriiterrr I love your poos they so prettyyy Trust me dudeee you have nothing to worry abouuutt )) “Oh yeah? Well, we’ll just have to see about that.” Jack said with a sharp grin, eyeing Calypso deviously before he followed her into the meadow, snatching up as many of the bugs as he could (and trying to do it delicately, too). He clasped his hands together, peering in to see three sparkling little dots in the dark, before turning to Calypso just in time to see her beckon him over. Quickly, a conceited, haughty smile on his face, he walked towards her slowly, dropping his hands and letting the bugs free. “Yeah, well, I caught three.” He said, obviously a little smug as he came towards her, placing his hands on her hips rather charmingly. “And look, I just caught another one.” He grinned, swaying her hips side to side happily. “A pretty little firefly, out here dancing in the meadow just for me.”
Kerrin grinned widely at Dorian’s comment, glancing back at the fortune-teller behind them, only to find that the old woman’s eyes were still focused on the young pair. “Well, I never said anything about trying to make her think otherwise, now, did I?” She asked him, looking a little smug as her eyes met with his. Kerrin adored Dorian, that was obvious to anyone, she was sure. But she doubted that she’d ever have a real chance with him. He was a traveling FBI agent, as she was led to believe, and chances were she’d never see, or hear from him again once she left. It was a thought that honestly depressed her, worried her, but she didn’t want to think about it now. In a way, she knew that the fortune teller was right. But she wouldn’t at all go as far to say that she was in love with Dorian, or ever would be. “Good.” She said with a firm nod. “I’d be very upset with you if you didn’t, you know.” She paused, frowning as she eyed him curiously. “You and Jack aren’t thinking of leaving…soon, are you?”
